Public key, address, account ID: we use those terms interchangeably on StellarX.
Stellar relies on public key cryptography, which means every account has a public key and a secret key. As the name suggests, your public key is public. It’s always safe to share, and it’s how other people identify your account and verify that you authorized a transaction.
It’s also where you’ll send funds when you deposit XLM into your StellarX wallet.
To find your public key, check the “Account Settings” dropdown menu (aka the little profile icon in the top right next to “Deposit”).
